Surfing FACEBOOK instead of watching the road!!

Yesterday was our 2nd day of the new policy and unfortunately, we’ve had a member of our team smash into the back of a Land Rover Discovery!
To protect us as a company, the driver concerned no longer is a member of our team. The reason why I've taken this immediate action is that he constantly uses his phone whilst driving which was also the cause of this accident. Now, it not only carries at £200 fine and 6 points but also puts the driver mate in this case at risk!
If you need to use your phone, STOP! Turn the engine off, then make a call, send a text, or surf through mundane crap on Facebook!, NEVER USE YOUR PHONE WHILST DRIVING!
If you're often guilty of the above, STOP, if you witness a driver using his phone, tell him to STOP! Then let us know.
This is common sense stuff! The frustration is, this accident didn't need to happen, it was completely avoidable. This driver now loses his job and has to pay his £250 excess!
Thank you to each and everyone else for the safe driving today. Let’s go for a clean week next week.
Mark
